Maine Infant Mortality Research Project Kate Slomkowski
Maine’s infant mortality rate (IMR) has been increasing over the course of the last two decades and is higher than neighboring New England states.
Qualidigm is working to help better understand the drivers of infant mortality in the state to help develop solutions that are data-driven and reflective of the population, culture and environment. Qualidigm is performing a fact-based assessment of the primary and secondary drivers of infant mortality (IM), which will inform the development of strategic actions to reduce IM and improve the lives and health outcomes of women, babies and children in Maine.
This is an ongoing project and the final report will be published in early 2020.
