Medicare Utilization Review Nurse -
Two Weekends per Month & Holidays

RN needed to provide weekend (2 per month) and holiday coverage for real-time independent reviews of patient care documentation to determine medical necessity of the admission/procedure, appropriateness of the care setting, and whether the service is considered under the Medicare benefit. Work is performed at our Rocky Hill office and cases are received via telephone. You will also refer cases that do not fit standard criteria to a Physician Reviewer. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We are open to job sharing arrangements.

You will need a current Connecticut RN license, and at least three years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting. Experience in reviewing the utilization and quality of delivered care, and in applying industry standard level of care guidelines is required. Experience in the denial and appeal processes for healthcare, esp. Medicare, needed, as well as good computer skills.

Mail/Copy Room Attendant – Part Time

Afternoons, Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day. Responsible for daily operations of mail and copy rooms, and general office equipment operation. Receive incoming office supply deliveries. Set up/break down of conference room and media equipment configurations for meetings. Provide basic user support under the guidance of IT staff, such as installing print drivers, and related routine duties. May fulfill office service requests such as assembly of furniture, installation of keyboard trays and wall-mounted items.

High school diploma or GED required. Some related experience helpful, but not required. Must be dependable. Basic math and computer skills, including Word, Excel and e-mail. Must have a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance - may be required to drive own car for occasional local errands. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds to manipulate tables, chairs and boxed files. Must be able to learn and perform routine upkeep and operation of office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.

EMR Application Specialist

Immediate opening for professional proficient in EMR implementation and use, to serve as the primary liaison between physician offices, key stakeholders and Qualidigm. You will work with clinicians and non-clinical staff in physician offices to maximize the utilization of their EMR system features, including data entry, extraction, and reporting functionality.

You must be proficient in one or more EMR software systems (e.g., Allscripts/A4, Misys, Practice Partner, eClinicalWorks, Soapware, NextGen, etc.). An associate degree in a relevant discipline or the equivalent in education and experience is required. Prior experience in EMR implementation preferred.

Executive Assistant

Immediate opening for full-time Executive Assistant to provide senior level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Medical Officer as well as supporting the areas of marketing, communications, business development, and new business proposals.  This position requires superior skills in the areas of communication (all forms), time management, attention to detail, as well as anticipatory skills in order to maximize effectiveness for assigned executives and areas of responsibility.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline is required, plus at least five years in a similar position supporting executive staff, as well as experience in the other areas listed above.  Must have expert-level proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Professional, internet search engines, and communications technology devices such as Blackberry, Treo, conference and webinar tools.  Intermediate skill in Access and Visio is also required.  Advanced writing and editing skills are continuously used in this position.  Must be self-directed and comfortable handling concurrent demands effectively and calmly.
